What we can help with
- Infections — Sore throat, tonsillitis, ear and sinus infections, coughs, fever, flu-like illness and chest infections.
- Stomach and travel illness — Food poisoning, traveller’s diarrhoea, vomiting, stomach pain and dehydration advice.
- Skin, bites and stings — Rashes, allergic reactions, insect bites, tick bites, sunburn and wound infections.
- Minor injuries — Sprains, small cuts, minor burns and wound care. We refer you on if an X-ray or hospital care is needed.
- Eyes and ears — Conjunctivitis, earache, swimmer’s ear and blocked ears.
- General advice — A second opinion, a medical question while you are away from home, or help understanding a diagnosis.
What happens at the appointment
Book online
Pick “GP consultation” and a time. You need your name, an email address and photo ID on the day.
Consultation in English
The doctor takes your history, examines you and explains the diagnosis. Rapid tests (for example strep throat or urine) can be done during the visit when indicated.
Treatment and paperwork
Prescriptions are sent electronically to any Danish pharmacy. You leave with a receipt for your insurer and, if you need it, a short medical report.
Price and payment
A consultation costs DKK 1,000 and lasts 15 minutes. The price is fixed and shown before you book. You pay by card in the clinic after your visit and receive an itemised receipt straight away — most travel and international health insurance policies reimburse a GP visit.
If a laboratory test or a longer consultation is needed, we tell you the price before we go ahead. There is no prepayment and no deposit.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Danish CPR number or health card?
No. YourGP is a private clinic for visitors and international students. You only need photo ID and an email address.
Can I get antibiotics?
When a bacterial infection is likely, yes. Antibiotics are prescription-only in Denmark, so a consultation is needed; many viral infections are best treated without them, and the doctor will explain why.
What if I need a hospital or a specialist?
The doctor will tell you where to go and write a short referral note you can bring. If it is life-threatening, call 112. For urgent problems outside our hours in the Copenhagen area, call the medical helpline 1813.
Do you treat children?
Yes, children are welcome with a parent or guardian.
