Price and payment

A consultation costs DKK 1,000 and lasts 30 minutes. The price is fixed and shown before you book. You pay by card in the clinic after your visit and receive an itemised receipt straight away — most travel and international health insurance policies reimburse a GP visit.

An early pregnancy scan is booked and paid separately with Praksisjordemoder; a blood test (hCG), if needed, is priced before it is taken. There is no prepayment and no deposit.

Frequently asked questions

How early can a pregnancy be detected?

A good urine test is reliable from the first day of a missed period; a blood test can detect pregnancy a few days earlier.

Can I get an ultrasound the same day?

Praksisjordemoder, in the same building, offers early scans from about week 6–7 and often has short waiting times. We help you book. Bleeding or pain is assessed by the midwife first, with ultrasound in the clinic when needed.

Who will I see?

One of our specialist midwives — all women — with postgraduate training in gynaecology and in gynaecological and obstetric ultrasound. They work alongside the clinic’s GPs, who issue any prescription and see you the same day if a doctor’s assessment is needed.

I am pregnant and unwell — can I be treated?

Yes. Treatment that is safe in pregnancy — for example for a UTI or an infection — is chosen together with the clinic’s doctors, who issue the prescription.

Do you provide antenatal care?

Not routine antenatal care — that is organised through the public system when you have a CPR number, or by your doctor at home. We help with the first steps and acute problems.
