STI / STD testing in Copenhagen
Confidential testing for sexually transmitted infections (STI, also called STD) — chlamydia, gonorrhoea, HIV and syphilis — with our specialist midwives in central Copenhagen, in English. With or without symptoms — no CPR number or Danish health card needed.
Book an STI test
Testing is possible whether or not you have symptoms. Results are usually ready within 2–5 working days.
The price is for the consultation. An STI/STD swab is a single price for all swabs taken — never per swab. Any other tests are added at their own price. Pay by card in the clinic — no prepayment.

What we test for
Chlamydia and gonorrhoea
Urine sample and/or swab (vaginal, throat or rectal depending on exposure).
HIV and syphilis
Blood test. Note that HIV can take several weeks after exposure to become detectable — the midwife advises on timing.
Symptoms
Discharge, pain when urinating, sores, rashes or pelvic pain are examined and treated in the same visit.
How it works
Book online
Choose “STI / STD testing”. You can book anonymously with just a name and email address — we are bound by medical confidentiality.
Consultation and samples
The midwife asks about exposure and symptoms, takes the relevant samples and, if you have symptoms, treatment can be started straight away — prescriptions are issued through the clinic’s doctors.
Results and treatment
Results are sent to your email. If a test is positive, we prescribe treatment and explain how to inform partners.
Price and payment
A consultation costs DKK 1,000 and lasts 30 minutes. The price is fixed and shown before you book. You pay by card in the clinic after your visit and receive an itemised receipt straight away — most travel and international health insurance policies reimburse a GP visit.
Laboratory analysis is included for the standard tests above; if additional tests are needed we tell you the price first. There is no prepayment and no deposit.
Frequently asked questions
How soon after exposure can I be tested?
Chlamydia and gonorrhoea: from about two weeks. HIV and syphilis: a blood test is reliable from about six weeks; an early test can be repeated. The midwife will advise on the best timing for you.
Is it anonymous?
Your visit is confidential. We need a name and email address to send the results, but no CPR number, address or insurance details.
Can I get treatment the same day?
If you have clear symptoms or a known exposure, treatment can often be started at the first visit.
Do you test for other infections?
Herpes, hepatitis B/C, trichomonas and mycoplasma can be tested on indication — tell the midwife what you are concerned about.
Who will I see?
One of our specialist midwives — all women — with postgraduate training in gynaecology and ultrasound. If a test is positive, treatment is prescribed through the clinic’s doctors.
