What should I do right now?
1. Find your documentation. The original packaging, a photo of it, a prescription label or your pharmacy app — anything showing the exact name, strength and dose.
2. Ask a pharmacy first. If your medicine is sold over the counter in Denmark, the pharmacist can help you straight away. Paper prescriptions issued in another EU/EEA country can often be used at Danish pharmacies if they contain the required information.

Medicines with special rules
Strong painkillers, sleeping pills, sedatives and ADHD medication are controlled substances in Denmark. They require an in-person assessment, solid documentation of your usual treatment, and are only prescribed in limited quantities — enough to cover your stay, not a full refill. How prescriptions work in Denmark
